克羅地亞中衛邁斯托洛維奇堪稱命運多舛，赛季剩余賽季初加盟球隊 ，海港外界對於其個人表現寄予厚望 ，外援然而在一場比賽未踢的中卫情況下 ，邁斯就在訓練中出現嚴重傷病，老伤率错联赛左膝十字韌帶斷裂 ，大概當時預估需要6-8個月的过本康複期 ，此後邁斯返回歐洲進行手術 ，赛季剩余康複休養。海港一直到9月份 ，邁斯才返回國內 ，開始跟隨海港進行訓練 。就在克羅地亞人為12月的冠軍爭奪戰摩拳擦掌時 ，傷病再次從天而降 。
