據《太陽報》的联已C罗两消息源表示 ：“在C羅的心中，他隻想回到曼聯 。密谈曼城C羅仍然想得到一份好的不愿不去合同，因為他仍然是声张世界上最出色的球員之一 。但是坚信他在心中隻想回歸曼聯 ，他告訴俱樂部說‘想回來’，而今他回來了 。”
“和C羅的談判已經在熒幕後麵進行了大約兩個月 。當C羅想要離開意大利變得清晰後，曼聯就決定簽下他 ，但是希望一切都盡可能地安靜。曼聯從未相信C羅會願意加盟曼城 ，他是曼聯的傳奇球星 ，球迷們至今仍在每場比賽中歌唱他的名字。”
據悉 ，C羅目前正在葡萄牙，他計劃在本周末攜全家一起飛回曼徹斯特。但C羅的首秀還需時日 ，預計是在國家隊比賽日之後的主場迎戰紐卡斯爾 。
