AJ Tabangay was on an UberPool ride when his long time college crush hopped in.  。

Naturally, he freaked out and live-tweeted the whole event. 。

"I can't breathe guys," says AJ before asking the Twittersphere what he should say to make small talk.。

"Upon arriving [at] his pick-up point, I [saw] him from afar and my heart started pumping intensely, I couldn't believe it," AJ, who is based in the Philippines, told 。 Mashable. 。

"When he entered, I pretended that it was nothing...[but I went on] a Twitter spree and constantly messaged my friends to devise a plan so I could converse with him. I ended up just feeling happy [and] giddy that I got to ride with him."。

AJ's story, which happened last year, picked up some social traction, but has now become truly immortalised in an Uber ad. 。

"I got really shocked when Uber contacted me...I completely forgot about it [but now] I think the memory will stick for a very long time," he said. 。 The ad, titled 。Kilig。

, which translates to romantic excitement in Filipino -- has since been viewed 2.4 million times, and attracted a stream of giddy comments. 。

"It happened to me couple of weeks ago...it's the driver that happens to be my long time crush, that [was the] very first time we had a conversation," said one comment on Facebook.。
