本屆女足世界杯由澳大利亞和新西蘭聯合舉辦 ，月日共32支隊伍參賽。官方32支參賽球隊將被分為8組 ，年女每組4隊 。足世目前 ，界杯将于进行亞洲的抽签中國 、日本 、月日韓國、官方菲律賓 、年女越南 ，足世以及歐洲的法國、西班牙、瑞典 、丹麥共9支球隊已經率先拿到了參賽資格 。
據悉 ，在抽簽之前，來自非洲 、中北美 、南美洲和大洋洲的球隊將參加7月至10月舉行的世預賽 ，爭奪2023年女足世界杯的參賽席位。此外 ，還將有10支球隊通過明年的世界杯預選賽附加賽 ，爭奪最後3張晉級世界杯正賽的門票 。
