We've reached a point in life where rather than being surprised by bizarre political events, the internet simply embraces them. 。
Today, for example, Republican Congressman Darrell Issa was spotted standing on a rooftop casually overlooking a crowd of constituents gathered outside his district office building in California. 。
Though initial details of Issa's impromptu rooftop rendezvous were unknown, the photograph of Issa prompted a slew of Grade A memes.。

In the face of all the Twitter buzz, Issa shared a few photographs of the "assembled constituents" Levin said he had been avoiding, claiming he spent the morning talking with those gathered outside the office but then "popped upstairs to take a quick pic."。

Despite Issa's rooftop explanation and aerial photographs, Levin still claims the congressman was making an effort to avoid those gathered across the street and only came outside of the building for a mere five minutes.。
