日本媒體《sponichi》報道稱，尼奇大阪櫻花即將重新簽下前外援中衛約尼奇 ，日媒據知情人士透露，费基此前大阪櫻花與上海申花談判中出現的阪樱本谈轉會費問題已經得到解決 ，目前正處於細節談判階段。花接回申花外
在隊內後防核心瀨古步夢轉會瑞士超級聯賽草蜢隊後 ，近签大阪櫻花急需補強後防線 ，援约而約尼奇的尼奇回歸對於大阪櫻花來講無疑是令人鼓舞的消息 。
來自克羅地亞的日媒約尼奇2017年加盟大阪櫻花 ，在4個賽季的费基比賽中僅缺席一場 ，共出場156次，阪樱本谈奉獻13球，成為球隊後防線不可或缺的人物 ，並幫助球隊奪得過日聯杯和天皇杯兩座獎杯 。
