I guess Taylor is picking up the tab at the next squad night out.
Pop queen and Grammy winner Taylor Swift has been named the top-earning celebrity of 2016 by Forbes.
Thanks to her 1989 World Tour and sponsorship deals with companies like Diet Coke and Apple, Swift has brought in $170 million dollars in 2016 alone. She jumped seven spots on the list, after tying for 8th place with Robert Downey Jr. in 2015.
They both made a mere $80 million.

Calvin Harris, Swift's recent ex-boyfriend, also made an appearance on the list at 21, having earned $63 million - roughly a third of Taylor's earnings. Had the pair not split, they would have beaten Beyonce and Jay Z for the title of highest earning celebrity couple.
Swift has also dethroned frenemy Katie Perry as the highest paid musician. Let's just hope there isn't any bad... well, you know.

Swift's ascension comes as she has championed artists against digital music platforms, having called out Spotify in particular. In November 2014, she removed her music from the subscription service, noting that it provides music for free to tens of millions of users.
Almost all of Swift's music remains unavailable on Spotify (though it can be found on Apple Music). It doesn't appear to have cost her much.
Notably, Swift isn't appearing on the cover of the upcoming Forbesissue. That'd be Kim Kardashian.
