9月17日，广州中超廣州城俱樂部官方通報了球員曾超的城伤超即傷情進展：

廣州城左後衛曾超已經結束了左膝康複的室內訓練階段，即將開始場上的情通康複訓練。曾超表示，将恢惧最近膝蓋和下肢力量都感覺不錯，复室服恐但仍需克服恐懼心理，外训重塑自信。练仍

看到大家歸隊，需克曾超表示非常開心，广州又可以為下一階段的城伤超即比賽目標一起努力了，“一直都想重返賽場，情通幫助球隊，将恢惧希望能參加下麵的复室服恐所有比賽。”但他也說，外训現階段的练仍目標還是先把傷養好。“球員就是這樣，不可能沒有傷病，有傷病之後就要想辦法克服。你必須走恢複的程序，不能跨過那個流程超前完成一些事情，否則可能導致傷病越拖越久，急也是沒有用的。”
