對於末輪的普赛聯賽，克洛普表示要做好自己 ：“從我的和好自角度來說 ，如果曼城最終取勝 ，那我們就是第二 ，這就是足球 。我們首先要做的是拿下我們的比賽 ，但不是說贏下狼隊 ，其他的比賽就不存在了。”
在被問到是否會在維拉對陣曼城前與傑拉德聊聊時，克洛普說 ：“當然不會 ，傑拉德正在率隊備戰對陣伯恩利的補賽 ，我沒有理由和他開展任何談話，我們唯一知道的就是維拉當然想贏下比賽 ，僅此而已。”
