北京時間3月11日 ，吳曦發文告別江蘇隊 ，发文他表示 ，告别很遺憾，江苏沒能穿上一天胸前繡星的队遗队服隊服 ，但是憾没那顆星會一直在我的心裏 。
吳曦寫到:
在江蘇九年了 ，穿上成家 、天胸生活 、前绣工作，吴曦從沒想過這樣離開。发文發生在這裏的告别點點滴滴 ，此刻都像電影一樣在眼前放映 ，江苏與球隊一起觸及過尖峰 ，队遗队服也經曆過低穀 ，憾没過往的喜悅 、悲傷曆曆在目。
很遺憾 ，沒能穿上一天胸前繡星的隊服 ，但是那顆星會一直在我的心裏 。臨行之際 ，萬千感慨隻想化作祝福 ，永遠祝福曾並肩戰鬥的好隊友們，祝福不離不棄的球迷們 ，祝福堅韌頑強的江蘇足球 。
本周二晚 ，一則"吳曦即將回歸上海"的傳聞引爆中國足壇 ，不過據《上海體育日報》報道 ，海港與吳曦之間的接觸 ，僅僅停留在初級階段 ，並未有任何深入的步驟 。到目前為止 ，可以基本確定 ，新賽季中 ，海港陣中不會出現吳曦的身影 。
