北京時間1月16日 ，埃弗英超埃弗頓俱樂部官方宣布 ，顿官貝尼特斯不再擔任球隊主帥 。帅贝斯下赛仅胜2021年6月30日 ，尼特貝尼特斯正式出任埃弗頓主帥 ，课近雙方簽約至2024年 ，轮联但最終僅執教半年 ，埃弗貝尼特斯的顿官埃弗頓生涯就已告終 。
去年夏天 ，帅贝斯下赛仅胜西班牙人貝尼特斯接過安切洛蒂的尼特教鞭成為埃弗頓主帥，19輪英超比賽交出的课近成績單為5勝4平10負 。近兩輪英超聯賽中 ，轮联太妃糖先後輸給布萊頓和諾維奇，埃弗在積分榜已滑落至第15位 ，顿官僅僅高出降級區6分 。帅贝斯下赛仅胜埃弗頓官方表示 ，將在適當的時間公布下一任永久主帥 。
