據《羅馬體育報》此前透露 ，官方國際足聯主席因凡蒂諾希望通過大幅增加傷停補時的世界事不时长時間 ，來讓每場比賽的平均時長達到100分鍾，進而顛覆了一場足球比賽用時90分鍾的概念 。此外 ，國際足聯足球發展負責人溫格還提出了運用技術進行自動判定越位的建議 。
