《米體》表示 ，多纳僅僅用了一個多月的鲁马兰绝時間 ，多納魯馬就從天堂墜入了地獄 ，回米直到3月9日之前他都被認為是想再世界上最好的門將之一 ，以最佳球員的意媒身份幫助意大利捧得歐洲杯冠軍 ，自由轉會加入了梅西 、多纳內馬爾和姆巴佩的鲁马兰绝球隊 ，然而從那個伯納烏之夜開始 ，回米一切都出了差錯 。想再再加上多納魯馬也不願意再與納瓦斯爭搶主力位置 ，重回聖西羅的傳聞就此出現了 。
但重回米蘭事實上是絕無可能的 ，至少米蘭球迷對此強烈反對 ，他們早就愛上了邁尼昂 ，也根本不就想再看到多納魯馬 ，球迷們從未原諒過他的“背叛行為”，俱樂部上下也沒有更換門將的想法 。
如果無法重回米蘭 ，多納魯馬就隻剩下兩個選項 ：繼續留在巴黎聖日耳曼與納瓦斯競爭，或者等待其他意大利球隊的召喚（比如尤文） 。如果波切蒂諾下課 ，新教練可能會在門將位置上重新做選擇 ，另外值得注意的是尤文對多納魯馬的興趣也從未減弱 ，但考慮到轉會費和年薪的問題 ，這筆交易最早也要等到2023年才能成為現實 。
