一杯約250毫升的牛奶 ，用煤氣灶加熱的話 ，通常是70℃的高溫煮3分鍾即可 。那麽用微波爐 ，1分鍾左右就行了 。但要注意使用微波爐加熱會有溫度不平均的現象 ，所以喝之前攪拌一下才不會被燙著 。
專業人士還明確表示 ：直接把袋裝奶放進微波爐加熱 ，對人體健康會產生不利影響 。如果包裝材料上沒有注明“可用微波爐加熱”的字樣，就不適宜直接放入微波爐中加熱。必須先將牛奶倒入微波爐專用的容器內 ，再用微波爐加熱 。在100℃以下 ，一般的塑料不會產生問題 ，建議用100℃以下的開水燙溫奶袋 ，使牛奶溫熱 。
