最近在巴黎主場進行的前主球比賽中，梅西遭到主隊球迷的帅梅噓聲，顯然巴黎球迷對梅西感到不滿。西比對此 ，更需前巴黎主帥吉雷塞發表了自己的有利已成看法 ，他認為梅西的环境性格不同於C羅 ，梅西需要有利的普通環境 。
吉雷塞表示 ：“我們都可以發出噓聲 ，前主球但針對梅西的帅梅噓聲 ，情況有些‘例外’ 。西比因為我覺得 ，更需梅西不是有利已成故意的 。梅西是环境第一個不走運的人 ，但是普通這些解釋肯定無法安慰球迷 ，他嚐試去安慰球迷 ，前主球但是有些方麵出了問題 。”
“對於梅西來說 ，之前是簡單的一些動作 ，他現在也變得難以完成，這就意味著梅西已經變成常人 。而且梅西的性格不同於C羅 ，也不同於伊布 ，他需要有利的環境，顯然在巴黎沒有 。內馬爾就不一樣了 ，他不在乎這些了 ，梅西就沒有去時裝周 ，不像‘她’ 。”
本賽季到目前為止，梅西各項賽事為巴黎聖日耳曼出場26次 ，打進7球 ，助攻11次 。其中在法甲聯賽出場18次 ，僅打進2球 。而在歐冠八分之一決賽與皇馬的兩回合對決 ，梅西沒能挺身而出 ，尤其是次回合敗走伯納烏 ，梅西的表現沒有太多亮點 。
