The new iPhones' water-resistance depth is lower than the IP68 rating on the Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and Note7, which can be submerged in up to 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. 。
Thanks for signing up! 。
The 6 in the IP67 rating indicates the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus have the highest available dust-resistance rating. 。
While it's still not recommended that you intentionally submerge them in water, it's reassuring knowing they'll be able to survive rain drops and splashes. 。
