此前，布欧巴黎當地時間24日，冠决歐足聯宣布歐冠決賽將不在俄羅斯聖彼得堡舉行 ，赛改赛事歐足聯表示:
本賽季歐冠決賽原定於今年5月29日在俄羅斯聖彼得堡舉行 ，举办但鑒於當下形勢 ，俄乌歐足聯官方宣布決賽場地更改至巴黎法蘭西體育場 。主场中立
決賽時間保留為歐洲中部時間2022年5月28日晚上9點
俄羅斯與烏克蘭俱樂部的移至歐戰主場賽事將在中立場地進行 ，直至另行通知
法蘭西體育場是地区1998法國世界杯決賽 、06歐冠決賽和16歐洲杯決賽的欧足舉辦場地 ，而這將是联宣两国法國自2006年以來首次舉辦歐冠決賽 。
