2月16日 ，开工廣州城隊在廣州大學城足球基地開啟了備戰2022賽季中超聯賽冬訓首訓 ，帅范荷蘭人範加斯特帶隊完成訓練。望留俱樂部方麵對於範加斯特是广汽工作广州滿意的 ，也有意讓其繼續執教。组已作主廣州城隊的进驻加股改正在進行當中 ，如無意外 ，城展待股改完成後，开工範加斯特將完成最後的帅范手續 。
從目前的望留情況來看 ，廣州城的广汽工作广州股改低調 ，但推進很穩健 。據了解 ，廣汽工作組已經進駐俱樂部展開工作 ，與俱樂部管理層進行了多次交流 ，熟悉和了解廣州城足球俱樂部的球隊構建 、俱樂部構成、青訓體係及足球基地的情況 ，並且對俱樂部的情況進行仔細的調研 、了解 。
