而在賠率方麵 ，朋友雖然梅西在獲得美洲杯後一度領跑 ，知结但萊萬多夫斯基在近日也曾反超過阿根廷球王 ，梅西這也更讓金球獎的获和最終歸屬撲朔迷離。
本周五 ，得金在距離金球獎頒獎隻有4天的情況下 ，來自《天空體育》的記者Matteo Moretto曝光了自己得到的最新消息。Matteo Moretto在社交媒體上回複網友帖子時表示 ：“（金球獎屬於）梅西，他和他的朋友們已經知道了結果 。”
本次金球獎頒獎典禮中 ，除了金球獎之外 ，還會頒發另外三個獎項 ，分別是 ：女足金球獎 、科帕獎 、雅辛獎。
