在巴塞羅那主場1-1戰平阿拉維斯的退役比賽中 ，首發出場的唏嘘险或选择阿圭羅在一次爭搶後捂著胸口倒在地上 ，隨後被庫蒂尼奧換下 。圭罗阿圭羅當時稱自己心髒不適 ，存心被換下場的脏疾阿根廷人直接被送往醫院 ，他在醫院接受了心髒病學檢查 ，病风檢查結果為心率失常 。无奈據悉 ，退役阿根廷隊醫也前往了歐洲與阿根廷見麵，唏嘘险或选择並幫助他診療 。
在那之後 ，巴塞羅那官方宣布阿圭羅將因為心髒問題傷缺3個月的時間 。根據媒體此前的報道 ，阿圭羅多年前就遭遇過類似的情況。《每日體育報》最新消息稱 ，阿圭羅的檢查結果為心律失常 ，這類心髒病非常危險 ，不排除阿圭羅直接掛靴的可能性 。
