《Yeon Viet》在報道中稱 ：“明年的请举亞洲杯可能會在越南而不是中國舉行 ，越南是办亚办赛符合亞足聯規定的候選國家之一 。亞足聯正在尋找一個新的洲杯证明亞洲杯主辦國 ，以取代放棄主辦權的年已能力中國。並且這個國家需要滿足提前晉級正賽的越媒越南條件 ，以避免因東道國不參加亞洲杯預選賽的将申待遇而引發爭議 。
