作為史上最龐大的速解中國男足 ，本期國家隊球員52人，人多工作人員人數達到41人之多 ，李霄力量其中除了主教練李霄鵬之外 ，应庞助理教練15人，大团队迅队既有鄭智、速解陳洋 、人多李金羽這樣的國內中超隊主教練，也有孫祥這樣的俱樂部管理層 ，還有孫繼海 、邵佳一等國內足壇名宿 。如此龐大的教練組如何工作，是外界關注的一大焦點話題 。
對此李霄鵬11日接受采訪作出了解釋 ，他表示：“選擇如此龐大的教練團隊 ，首先是為了迅速了解隊員 ，發揮隊員的長處 ，第二這些助教團隊都是成功的運動員，當教練也有一定的經曆 ，這個時候 ，這麽短的時間 ，我覺得還是人多力量大 。”
李霄鵬說 ：“這個教練團隊看似很龐大，如果分到兩個團隊裏，其實也是比較標準的配置。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
