但是赛场岁球在希臘第三級別的一場歐波利斯隊的比賽中 ，卻沒有配備自動體外除顫器 ，而且比賽也沒有安排急救車 。正是因為如此 ，21歲的歐波利斯隊的蘭皮斯錯過了最佳的治療時機 ，最終去世。《世界體育報》稱，在比賽不到5分鍾的時候 ，蘭皮斯突然倒地 ，由於比賽球場位於雅典郊區 ，救護車花了20分鍾才到達現場 。
