北京時間3月25日，国足在淩晨結束的进球2022卡塔爾世界杯預選賽亞洲區B組第9輪比賽中 ，中國隊1-1戰平沙特阿拉伯隊 。后相本場比賽，拥集中國男足國家隊在大部分時間都處於被動的体指天悼情況，上半場補時階段 ，念空难遇难同沙特隊利用角球機會率先破門；下半場 ，哀悼金敬道造點 ，国足朱辰傑點射破門，进球攻入個人國家隊首球 ，后相為球隊扳平比分。拥集
進球之後 ，体指天悼中國隊員們相擁在一起 ，念空难遇难同集體指天表達了對東航空難同胞的哀悼深切哀悼 ，同時也向此前因病去世的中國足球名宿陳成達指導送上致敬。
