《郵報》駁斥了這一說法 ，维拉物浦问鼎並提出了另一個聳人聽聞的事情 ：格拉利什的合同中並不包括獎金條款 ，反而是利物浦陣中的若塔（引進自狼隊）有相關條款 。
《郵報》稱 ，格拉利什加盟曼城的轉會合同中，沒有包含與成績相關的獎金條款 ，而是僅有一個分期支付條款 。
