《郵報》駁斥了這一說法 ，维拉物浦问鼎並提出了另一個聳人聽聞的事情 ：格拉利什的合同中並不包括獎金條款，反而是利物浦陣中的若塔（引進自狼隊）有相關條款 。
《郵報》稱 ，格拉利什加盟曼城的轉會合同中 ，沒有包含與成績相關的獎金條款 ，而是僅有一個分期支付條款 。
反而是拖遝 ，如果利物浦最終奪得英超冠軍 ，由於合同中存在的特殊獎金條款 ，狼隊將從紅軍那裏收獲到數百萬鎊級別的獎金 。
