金敃友在2010年從J2聯賽的鳥棲砂岩開始職業生涯 ，在日本效力了七年後 ，2017年初自由轉會回到韓國 ，加盟水原三星。2018年至2019年因服兵役的需要 ，在尚州尚武效力了一年半 ，兵役結束後再次返回水原三星 。在效力水原三星與尚州尚武的152場比賽中 ，他貢獻了21球與14次助攻 。
