In fact, so many of Biles' fellow Olympic athletes wanted to snap photos with her before the Games came to an end that their selfie-taking wound up delaying the entire Rio closing ceremony.

According to BBC,the closing ceremony parade was dubbed "Simone Selfie Central" by NBC's Mary Carillo, who described the athletes as a "conga line of people" bombarding Biles.

Biles -- winner of four gold medals in the 2016 Games -- was given the honor of carrying the U.S. flag during the ceremony, but fans didn't let the flag stop them from approaching the gymnast.
