在今年夏天 ，巴萨哈蘭德是锋线巴薩中鋒位置上的引援首選。但皇馬和曼城也都在瘋狂追求哈蘭德 ，引援巴薩必須提前做好B計劃準備 。计劫切兩大加泰媒體《每日體育報》和《世界體育報》 ，划莱哈兰都在今天頭版頭條上曝光了巴薩的德备B計劃人選 。
《每日體育報》指出 ，胎打巴薩把萊萬視為哈蘭德的尔西備胎 。萊萬和拜仁的巴萨合同簽到了2023年 ，拜仁始終沒有與波蘭人進行續約談判，锋线這讓萊萬非常不高興 。引援萊萬此前已經通知經紀人運作轉會，计劫切他本意是划莱哈兰加盟皇馬 。但皇馬已經基本敲定了姆巴佩的德备自由轉會 ，白衣軍團不可能再引進萊萬 。胎打在這種情況下 ，巴薩認為萊萬有可能會選擇來諾坎普效力 。
《世界體育報》 ，則列出了另外四個鋒線引援備胎人選。在這四人中，有兩人來自目前風雨飄搖的切爾西 。盧卡庫和維爾納雖然在切爾西表現不佳 ，但巴薩認為他們能夠適應西甲節奏和戰術 ，而且此時是壓價引援的最佳時機。
另外兩人 ，則是希克和萊奧 。希克在去年歐洲杯中大放異彩 ，目前他在德甲中出場20次打進20球 ，射手榜上僅次於萊萬排名第二 。萊奧則是這幾名備胎中最年輕的，22歲的葡萄牙人符合巴薩的年輕化理念 。在本賽季中 ，萊奧為AC米蘭出場31次打進11球，他是紅黑軍團在意甲領跑的重要功臣之一。
