In what has since become an inspiring video for many, English cricketer Liam Thomas kept his calm when his prosthetic leg fell off in a game and finished the run of play as if nothing had happened.。

Thomas’ prosthetic leg fell off while fielding a ball at a Cricket game for people with physical disability in Dubai last week. Thomas looked at his artificial leg as he completed the dive, but quickly hopped on one leg and threw the ball to the keeper. 。

"It just happened, really. I was sprinting for the ball, put my hand out, hit the deck hard and the next thing I know I stood up and had no leg," Thomas told。 CNN。CNN

Thomas was playing for England in the final of a cricket tournament against Pakistan. He blamed local weather in Dubai for loosening the socket on the prosthetic leg, which eventually led the leg to fall off.  。
