據《米蘭體育報》透露，穆裏尼奧可能會因為自己不冷靜的舉動而遭到追加處罰。至於處罰的嚴重程度，則將視佩雷托的裁判報告而定。而《新聞報》則表示，羅馬高層已就穆帥的行為向佩雷托道歉，而穆帥則可能被停賽2-3場。
