丁旭在個人社交媒體寫道：廣州足球俱樂部在廣州足協注冊，广州规定非廣東足協 ，按照按照現行轉讓規定 ，跨协廣州足球俱樂部不能跨協會轉讓 ，曝广也就是州队必須在廣州足協注冊 ，也就是迁离不可能遷到非廣州範圍內的廣東省內其他城市 ，廣州城足球俱樂部同樣如此 。
