西班牙和葡萄牙原本計劃聯合申請2030年世界杯，西足协主席西但是班牙杯对西班牙足協主席盧比亞萊斯在接受采訪時表示未來西班牙可能會單獨申辦世界杯，而且勝出的有望意可能性極大。
“對於2030年世界杯，举办最理想的世界模式是歐洲隻派出一個代表來競選主辦權 ，西班牙作為歐洲競選代表 ，恩里勝出的克满可能性非常大 。”
而對於恩裏克的西足协主席西表現 ，盧比亞萊斯表示 ：“我對國家隊主帥以及助理團隊的班牙杯对表現非常滿意，這讓我們未來有了保證。有望意現在我們是举办有合同的 ，我不擔心未來續約的世界問題，大家可以就此事進行磋商 。恩里世界杯結束後第二天，克满我們就可以探討續約的西足协主席西話題 。恩裏克目前也不想和其他歐洲大型俱樂部接觸，他現在心裏隻有明年的卡塔爾世界杯 。”
