曼聯官方在周四宣布 ，市中帅豪滕哈格將從下賽季起出任球隊主帥，家紧雙方簽約至2025年6月，邻瓜並有選擇續約一年的红魔划條款 。將在本賽季結束後接手曼聯的新帅心安滕哈格並不想重蹈曼聯前幾任主帥的覆轍 ，他告訴曼聯老板他想要在這裏長期安家。滕哈

而曼聯已經為他們的新教練起草了一份名單 ，其中有一套公寓與瓜迪奧拉的一套價值200萬英鎊的豪宅在同一街區 。這座豪華公寓位於丁斯蓋特與索爾福德邊界 ，距離市中心僅有幾分鍾車程，這裏也是曼城球星京多安和B席的家鄉 。他在2017年上任阿賈克斯主教練時也做出了類似的決定 ，他目前住在阿姆斯特丹市中心的一套公寓裏 。
