對於球隊現在的重庆状让狀況，魏新表示 ：“到現在出現了俱樂部無法運營的队领队魏狀況是大家都不想看到的 ，但是新中對於我們來說是無奈之舉 ，沒有辦法，国足沒有更多的球现經費來運營 。不知道該怎麽形容現在這樣一種狀態 ，所有手不是人措我們一個球隊 ，是重庆状让整個中國足球都出現了這種狀態，怎麽發生的，怎麽突然來的 ，沒有一個人能說清楚 ，隻是突然有了這樣的結果 ，讓所有的人都措手不及 ，讓我們來不及思考 。”
對於接下來的聯賽球隊是怎麽安排的，魏新表示：“我們必須兩步走 ，怎麽完成好今年的聯賽，說不定還有明年的聯賽怎麽完成 ，同時還要把俱樂部的股改 ，俱樂部未來怎麽搞好，沒有前例，可能世界足球都沒前例 ，我們中國人自己發明的 ，我們怎麽去做 ，怎麽應對困難 ，相信我們最後能夠戰勝困難 。”
