趙宇寫道：
中超6月初開打 ，考虑賽區分別是场制大連 、梅州 、中超主客海口 ，模式這個基本定了 。后面恢复計劃踢滿34輪 ，考虑模式是场制8+8+8+10 ，前8輪在賽區封閉情況下進行 ，後麵再恢複主客場。考慮到比賽開始較晚 、賽程緊密 ，前16輪很大可能都在賽區踢 ，中間會給球隊留出轉換賽區時間 ，但時間非常短 ，此後再根據具體情況考慮恢複主客場製的可能性 。疫情下，中超開賽也受到了各種挑戰 。
