Enter Toronto's Grinder Coffee. They were so keen to get Ryan Gosling to visit their cafe during the Toronto International Film Festival that they spent 10 days campaigning for it on social media.

They had some early backing from Toronto's mayor John Tory, who swung by to lend the campaign his support.

Then, finally, on the 10th day of the campaign, it all paid off. Suddenly the photo was no longer just with a cutout. It was with an actual, 3D Ryan Gosling.

Following Gosling's visit, the nephew of the cafe's owner, Joelle, took to Twitter to post a thread about his aunt.
