"What I can say is that it's now a matter of public record, because we put 'right to information' requests into the division of Workplace Health and Safety [saying] that we had concerns." 。

However, park representatives are flicking away the accusations. 。

The park released a statement via email Thursday, defending the safety of their rides. "If it’s not tested, it doesn't open," the statement reads.。

The Thunder River Rapids ride passed an annual engineering inspection, conducted by an external firm, on Sept. 29, a park spokesperson said.。

"Details of this external audit will of course be provided to the Coroner and workplace safety investigators," the spokesperson said, reiterating the park's "unwavering support" for the families of the four victims, who include siblings Kate Godchild and Luke Dorsett, as well as Dorsett's partner Roozi Araghi.。
