Everyone's made a typo in their life, including international airlines. 。
Cathay Pacific gained plenty of internet attention after a new paint job on one of its planes resulted in the misspelling of the airline's name. 。

According to the South China Morning Post, the error was first spotted on the Hong Kong Aviation Discussion Board. At least Cathay Pacific found it funny too. 。

As cited by the newspaper, an engineer for sister company Haeco was unsure as to how the mistake could've happened. 。
"The spacing is too on-point for a mishap. We have stencils. Should be a blank gap in between letters if it was a real mistake I think," the engineer said.。
The error could be costly to fix, but in the meantime the internet enjoyed the mistake — and makes us realise we all probably need a copy editor in our lives.。
