陳永表示 ，筹办在足協青少部的中日工作方案中，其中很重要的韩青一項工作就是籌辦中日韓青少年冠軍賽（或者類似的名稱） ，其計劃是少年赛 ：中日韓三國在各自的青少年聯賽結束之後 ，委派各自的冠军優勝球隊（比如冠亞軍隊 ，或者四強球隊）參加中日韓青少年冠軍賽 ，媒体三國輪流舉辦，人足至於名額可以是协正2+1+1 ，也可以是计划4+2+2 ，或者3+2+2+1（最後一個為邀請名額） 。筹办
目前另一個呼聲是中日希望亞足聯逐漸組建青少年亞冠聯賽（或者U19亞冠聯賽） ，如此除了進一步促進整個亞洲青少年足球的交流之外 ，也可以同時促進中國足球的發展。
