北京時間11月30日淩晨 ，法国2021年的足球主编金球獎將會出爐 ，C羅並沒有出席這一頒獎典禮 。目标此前 ，比梅金球獎的西金頒獎方《法國足球》雜誌的主編費雷在接受采訪時曾經表示 ，C羅曾經對自己說過 ，球多他唯一的怒怼目標就是在退役時比梅西擁有更多的金球獎 。而C羅則在INS上發文怒懟費雷，法国C羅表示費雷的足球主编話是徹底的謊言 。
C羅在自己的目标INS上如此寫道：“今天在這裏我要回應一下費雷在上周的一些言論 ，他說我唯一的比梅目標是在退役前擁有比梅西更多的金球獎個數 。費雷說的西金是假話 ，他希望用我的球多名字來宣傳他自己以及他的作品 。負責頒發這樣一個享有盛譽的怒怼獎項的人 ，卻這樣撒謊 ，這是不可接受的 。這是對一個一直尊重《法國足球》的人的不尊重 。今天他又一次撒謊，用所謂的‘隔離’來解釋我的缺席。”
“我總是希望祝賀那些取得勝利的人，公平競爭與體育精神一直貫穿我整個足球生涯。而且我的競爭也從來不是針對任何人的 。我總是為我自己 、為我效力的球隊 ，為愛我的人們奮鬥 ，我從來不針對任何人 。”
