而博格巴的“還沒有結束” ，則被媒體解讀為對主帥朗尼克的回擊 。在此前接受采訪時 ，朗尼克表示 ，博格巴基本上已經不會再代表曼聯出場 ，“他會在賽季結束前再次出場嗎 ？這看上去是非常不可能的 。隊醫告訴我說 ，他至少需要4周的時間來恢複。而由於最後一場比賽是在5月底 ，所以我認為他基本不可能再出場了 。”
