Google Doodles are a regular source of unexpected joy, and Earth Day is no exception, with the search giant crafting a special, children's book style message of love for our planet. 。

The troubling scenes prompt the fox to suddenly wake (#wokefox) and begin working with his friends, a frog and a cat, to do something to help preserve the planet. 。
Credit: google 。Those activities include planting vegetables, picking vegetables over meat at the grocery store, biking instead of driving cars and, yes, even hitting the phones to spread awareness about environmentally friendly behaviors. Then, as with all children's tales, the trio goes to bed with all being well in the world.。

Of course, as Saturday's march reminds us, all is not well, and the Google Doodle adds a couple of tools to help, including an animated "Earth Day tips" slide show (when you click the search icon), followed by a list of traditional Google results targeting the term.。
It's a sweet but very serious reminder about the importance of Earth Day, presented in a way that's perfect if you're raising a family of young children just learning about these issues, or just needed a respite from all your serious adult stuff while still considering how to live a bit more responsibly.。
