In the end, though, the photo was traced back to a place where security is clearly top priority: a police station.

Yep: that picture was taken by a student police officer, and it shows the inside of the shared fridge at Halifax Police Station.
You may think it's odd -- and, admittedly, it probably takes a lot longer to make a cup of tea than normal -- but hey: if the police can't curb the nation's milk theft epidemic, who can?
