《鏡報》表示 ，曝弗C羅在曼徹斯特的格森家距離弗格森家很近 ，葡萄牙前鋒是爱徒弗爵爺家中的常客 ，並且還經常邀請弗格森來自己家中做客。再留事實上 ，曼联C羅去年夏天能拒絕曼城加盟曼聯 ，累心C罗力劝也是曝弗弗格森在其中起到了不小的作用。
據悉 ，格森弗格森並不希望看到C羅離開曼聯 ，爵爺在勸說葡萄牙前鋒再留在老特拉福德一個賽季 。C羅在加盟曼聯時與俱樂部簽訂了一份為期兩年的合同 ，到2023年6月30日到期 。
在弗格森麵前 ，C羅顯然可以無話不談 。據《鏡報》得知，弗格森希望自己的昔日愛徒能至少再留曼聯一個賽季 ，他們甚至談到了曼聯本賽季的衰落 。
