沃特福德在官方公告中表示 ：“沃特福德俱樂部官方確認，拉涅利下克勞迪奧-拉涅利已經卸去一線隊主教練一職 。课仅克勞迪奧先生是官方世界足壇最受人尊敬的主教練之一 ，他在維卡拉格路的沃特貢獻 ，始終會被俱樂部和球迷們銘記 。福德”

值得一提的官方是 ，在拉涅利成為沃特福德主教練之後 ，至今隻過了112天 。在其帶隊的13場比賽中 ，沃特福德隻取得了7個積分。如今20輪比賽過後，沃特福德隻拿到了14個積分，排名積分榜倒數第二位 。
