北京時間1月25日 ，官方英超沃特福德俱樂部官方宣布，沃特拉涅利不再擔任球隊主教練一職 。福德從執教沃特福德開始至今，宣布拉涅利隻在沃特福德的主帅执教帥位上待了112天 。
沃特福德在官方公告中表示 ：“沃特福德俱樂部官方確認 ，拉涅利下克勞迪奧-拉涅利已經卸去一線隊主教練一職。课仅克勞迪奧先生是官方世界足壇最受人尊敬的主教練之一 ，他在維卡拉格路的沃特貢獻，始終會被俱樂部和球迷們銘記。福德”
