北京時間9月11日 ，官方國際足聯官方宣布 ，巴西巴西、足协周英智利 、撤销超墨西哥 、天禁踢本巴拉圭足協已經與國際足聯達成一致，赛球同意撤銷部分南美球員禁賽5天的官方決定 。
在本次國際比賽日之前 ，巴西英超俱樂部達成一致，足协周英他們拒絕放行處於南美紅色區域的撤销超國腳回國比賽 。巴西足協此前提出了要求 ，天禁踢本他們要求那些未放行巴西國腳參加國家隊賽事的赛球8名英超球員禁賽5天 。根據國際足聯的官方規定 ，沒有被放行參賽的巴西球員可以被禁賽5天 ，在英超聯賽阻止球員們前往疫情紅色地區參賽後，足协周英巴西足協援引了這一條款 。
這8名球員分別是利物浦的菲爾米諾、法比尼奧、阿利森 ，曼城的熱蘇斯 、埃德森 ，曼聯的弗雷德 ，切爾西的蒂亞戈-席爾瓦，以及利茲聯的拉菲尼亞 。如今這意味著這些球員可以參加本周末的英超聯賽 。
