Kesha's been busy behind the scenes creating new music amidst her ongoing legal battle, but don't break out the glitter quite yet.。
According to a new。 T Magazine。profile, Kesha wrote and personally recorded 22 songs that, as of now, haven't seen the light of day. Song titles include “Rosé,” “Learn To Let It Go,” and "Hunt You Down." 。

“I found a rainbow, rainbow, baby,” she sings on the song. “Trust me, I know life is scary, but just put those colors on, girl, and come and paint the world with me tonight.”

In the profile, Kesha delves further into her working relationship with Dr. Luke, claiming that he insisted on dumbing down her image and lyrics to package her exclusively as a party girl instead of letting her express the breadth of her experience as a woman. 。
Thanks for signing up!。
Kesha was excited to turn the tables and sing about drinking and getting rowdy like male musicians she admired, like Iggy Pop and Bob Dylan, had done without repercussion in the past.。
“You know, when I first came out, I was saying I want to even the playing field. I’m a superfeminist. I am an ultra-till-the-day-I-die feminist, and I am allowed to do, and say, and participate in all the activities that men can do, and they get celebrated for it," said Kesha. "And women get chastised for it.”
Kesha hopes her new material will show a more complete picture of the person she is once they're finally released. She and her label, Sony, both confirm that she's turned in new music to her label, but the singer and representatives for the record company seem to disagree about how close the songs are to being released.。
"Creating a new album takes time, and everyone's goal is to deliver a high quality album consistent with Kesha's past releases. We hope to share exciting new music with Kesha's fans soon," the label told Buzzfeed in a statement. 。
However, Kesha's attorney, Daniel Petrocelli, cautioned fans to remain patient. 。
“Kesha has been trying for six months to record and release new music. Only in the last month, after our last court hearing, has any progress been made, but it is hardly enough," said Petrocelli. Kesha still has received no commitments on promotion, songs, or even a release date."。
In the meantime, Kesha has been touring to keep in touch with her fans and pay her astronomical legal fees, estimated by the author of the profile to be about $100,000. But she has not been playing the new material. Instead, she's opted for a mix of her older hits and carefully chosen covers, like Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me" and Bob Dylan's "I Shall Be Free." 。
