It's Tuesday, June 12, the day E3 2018 proper kicks off. And like clockwork, Nintendo zoomed in right before the show floor opened to try to steal everyone's thunder.。

The publisher brought its expected crowd-pleasers -- looks at Metroid and Super Smash Bros., obviously -- but there were plenty of smaller announcements that should delight fans just as much. 。

We don't know anything about this mech game from Marvelous Entertainment that's coming to Switch. But it sure does look pretty, and this trailer is awash with heavy metal power chords. 。
