卡爾德克在接受采訪的上诉時候說道 ：“在中國的這幾年對我來說很重要，中國人民和球迷都非常歡迎我和我的至国圳队转家人 ，這是联深一段永遠會被銘記的經曆 。遺憾的或被是 ，我在中國的津媒际足禁止這段旅途要以一種自己不想看到的方式結束 。但作為一名職業球員 ，德克我沒有感受到尊重，上诉因此除了終止合同別無選擇 。我在中國留下了印跡 ，包括進球 、數字和紀錄 。現在是時候繼續前行 ，等待職業生涯中的下一個挑戰 。”
卡爾德克之所以離開深圳隊 ，一方麵是因為中國足協推行了“工資帽”規定 ，預算有限的深足無法承擔其高薪 ，雙方分手是不可避免的事情 。另外一方麵 ，卡爾德克透露深圳隊拖欠自己長達5個月的工資，他將上訴至國際足聯，如果無法解決的話 ，等待深圳隊的將是轉會禁令 。
