北京時間10月17日晚20時30分，荷甲好无荷甲聯賽第9輪，球迷庆祝尼梅亨主場0-1負於維特斯 。进球當維特斯進球後，时看伤客隊球迷們在看台上集體跳躍慶祝 ，台坍塌幸導致看台突然坍塌 ，人受幸運的吓人是無人受傷 。
比賽第16分鍾 ，荷甲好无丹麥前鋒弗雷澤裏克森為維特斯進球 ，球迷庆祝隨後維特斯球員們衝到客隊球迷看台下 ，进球和隨隊來到客場的时看伤球迷們一起慶祝 。看台上的台坍塌幸維特斯球迷們集體跳著並高唱歌曲 ，但看台卻突然坍塌下來 。人受幸好坍塌的吓人看台離地麵並不高，沒有球迷因此受傷 。
當時維特斯球員們看到看台坍塌後 ，有些球員用手捂住了嘴巴 ，還有人抱著頭 ，他們都很擔心球迷們的安全 。而球迷們在確認無人受傷後 ，卻繼續跳著慶祝 。最終本場比賽維特斯客場1-0小勝 ，目前以5勝1平3負積16分排在荷甲積分榜第六位。
尼梅亨市長休伯特-布魯斯也關注了此事 ，他在接受荷蘭《電訊報》采訪時表示 ：“我對所發生的事情感到非常震驚 。幸運的是 ，據我們所知 ，沒有人受傷。我想要盡快調查此事，了解當時發生了什麽 。”
值得一提的是 ，維特斯在本輪獲勝後 ，他們將在本周中的歐會杯小組賽中主場迎戰英超勁旅熱刺 。前兩輪歐會杯小組賽維特斯1勝1負積3分 ，熱刺則1勝1平積4分 。
